Pros: FRONT LIGHT!!!, portable design, large game library, rechargeble battery
Cons: no headphone jack, volume slider, uncomfortable for wrists
The Bottom Line: Still the best console for light-medium gaming. For heavy-duty gamers, the DS or PSP would be better for you.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Intro
Before the Game Boy Advance SP, there were basically three ways to solve the lighting problem of the original GBA (Game Boy Advance). You could've: 1. Bought cheap, useless aftermarket add-ons. 2. Riskily took apart your... |

Pros: Very durable, great battery life, small, comfortable, large game library, front lit screen
Cons: no backlit screen, no headphone jack, no stereo speakers
The Bottom Line: If you don't own one, buy one.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The GBA SP will long be remembered as one the best handhelds in gaming history. So much about this device is wonderful, ever now when the Nintendo DS, and Sony PSP are available. What makes this device a must have is it's true portability. For a...

Pros: Somewhat entertaining, rechargable battery, small, wide choice of games available.
Cons: Extremely uncomfortable, Expensive games, repetative, no brightness control, random save options
The Bottom Line: I am guessing it is really entertaining for kids, but it is extremely tireful on my hands and I get bored with it easily.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I've never been a big gamer, but lately I've had the urge to maybe change that, and started playing different games on my computer and my cell phone. Hohestly, to me the more complicated the game is, the less likely it is to keep my attention. For...

Cons: No headphone jack. Only two exterior colors for system.
The Bottom Line: Anyone who has the money... GET ONE!

Review: I love the sleek design, and the backlight. This IS worth the extra $30. The graphics are great and you can use ANY previous GameBoy game in it! You don't need to throw out your old games! If you don't have GBA already, skip the normal GameBoy...

Pros: The Game Boy Advance SP Console has a very excellent picture quality and interface.
Cons: The Game Boy Advance SP Console has a very small area for larger hands.
The Bottom Line: IT just doesn't get much better than this plus you don't have to replace all your older games because they are fully-compatible with the new Game Boy Advance SP.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The unit itself is very compact compared to Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance and is about 3 inches by 3 inches when the screen is closed and when the screen is flipped open it is about 6 inches by 3 inches. All the buttons are the same, except...

Pros: Ultra Sleek Design, Backlight, Rechargeable Battery
Cons: I Just Bought My GBA Like 2 Years Ago.
The Bottom Line: Give In and Pick Yourself up a Gameboy Advance SP If You Haven't Already Done So.

Review: Nintendo is probably the best known console manufacturer this world has ever know, the company's hardware legacy began before the video game industry really hit the mainstream. There has always been one thing that Nintendo has always been the master...

The Bottom Line: I HIGHLY recommend the GameBoy Advance SP because it is very portable and has a built in light for your utmost convenience.

Review: FINALLY! Nintendo has come out with a new handheld game system that does not need a separate worm light or any other source for nighttime viewing! The new and improved GameBoy Advance, which is now the GameBoy Advance SP, is here. One of the first...

Pros: Bright, backlit screen; Li Ion battery; Protective clamshell design; Compactness
Cons: Battery not easily replaced
The Bottom Line: Save your eyes and your children's eyes with the SP. I plan on replacing my GBA with another SP, so that both of my kids have an SP.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Nintendo did a fantastic job in revising their Gameboy Advance with the Gameboy SP. The big three improvements (clamshell design, Li ion battery, and backlit screen) make it closer to perfection.

Pros: small design , flip screen, games go into side instead of top
Cons: mono sound , no headphone jack
The Bottom Line: This is a very good portable gaming system, I have not seen anything better up to date.

Review: Generally, I would recommend this to any kid who is looking for a portable game system. It is small, has a nice look and you can bring it along anywhere you like. It also does not eat up lots of battery power which is good because you don't want to...

Review: I remember when I first had a gameboy, it was about 3 pounds and 10 times the size of any recent gameboy. I have to say though, it was deffinetly a lot of fun then, even in its mammoth state.
