If you're looking for an SUV, buy this one!
Pros:
A cute, comfortable vehicle
Cons:
There were too many colors to choose from! I had a hard time deciding!! :o)
The Bottom Line:
It's comfortable and cute. The first aid "bubble" on the back is kind of corny, but the car is still cute. It handles well, and gives you practically no troubles.

Author's Review
I know nothing about cars, I was just a 17 year old female when I bought this. The only thing I know is the difference between a truck, SUV, car, convertable, and Semi. That's the extent to my knowledge. But I would still like to recommend the Xterra, because after having it for a little over 2 years now, I know that I like it and have had 0 problems with it. When it came time to buy my first car my parents said "pick out whatever you want" Everyone thought I was crazy when I decided on a Nissan Xterra, they all said "what's that?" Since it was a new car nobody had ever even heard of it. They all thought that I should've picked something sporty and fast like a Mustang, or Camero, or Firebird, and the list went on and on but I don't know what they were naming, like I said - I don't know cars. But I knew that I definitely wanted an SUV instead of a car because I like to be up higher. So I went from dealer to dealer and my brother told me about the Xterra, he did some research on it and said it seemed like a pretty nice car, so I checked it out. I went to the dealership, they told me a little bit about it, let me test drive it, and then I decided that that was the car I wanted to get. But of course my parents said "don't make a decision that fast, think about all of your options" but my mind was made up. I still had to wait a couple of days though to "think about it" then my mom took me back up there and I bought it. I don't regret it at all. Being only 17 my parents thought if I rushed into it without thinking it through that I would change my mind and want something else within a year. But it's been 2 years and 2 1/2 months now and I would still go back and buy the same car if I had a choice. The only problem with the car itself that I would change would be the seats. The bottom is pretty shallow and only 1/2 of my thigh fits on it, it would be more comfortable if it went closer to my knee. I do have long legs (I'm 5'10") but I know that the majority of men are taller then me and I'm sure men drive Xterras too and have the same problem. After driving for hours on end the seats get a little uncomfortable, but I'm sure there aren't many cars out there that are comfortable for that long. There was one time that I had to take it in for service (but it was one time only) and that was because for some reason one of the windows stopped going up and down smoothly. Driving at fast speeds (like on expressways) it gets kind of noisy because the thing on top makes noise against the wind. But it's been a great car, it's lasted me this long, and I know it will last me several more years in the future.
