my new favorite car

I wanted this auto since introduced in 2003 and bought it used in 1-2007. It is everything that I thought it was and more. Everytime I think "They should have ..", I look in the owners manual and they already though of it. I wanted the back up camera, but after driving it for 6 mos., I don't think that it is necessary. The rear window is sufficient for seeing and the side mirrors are actually very good for viewing blind spots and the back of the vehicle.
The interior of the Murano has a luxury feel to it. The seat leather seems high quality, as well as the leather wrapped steering wheel. Love the on board computer screen. I keep it on the fuel efficiency screen when I'm not using the GPS, this has kept me out of a few tickets because I'm more focused on improving MPG than speeding and I happened to have passed by police doing radar. I currently get 20.5 mpg. During the winter and times I don't use the AC, the MPG goes to 21.7. This is in very mixed driving. I drive 84 miles round trip to work at hghwy speeds around 70-80 mph and then we use it around town also.
Comfort while driving is wonderful. It is a smooth ride, I guess because it is car based. However, I guess because it is car based, it isn't made to jump tall curbs; I was stuck on one once (SUV is kinda misleading). The turn radius is great. I've never had to worry about tight parking spots or small turn around areas.
All-in-all, I am very glad that I purchased this vehicle. In 6 mos. of driving, there is not too much I would change with it. I wish there was a 3rd row option, but I haven't needed it as of yet.
