Great used car - makes me look richer than I am!

Pros: AWD, looks, luxury options, size

Cons: MPG, ugly info screen, a little sluggish going uphill

The Bottom Line: Great car for the money!!! Luxury at a low price!!

I bought a used 2003 Murano in October of 2007. It has been several months but I am very happy with it.
Please keep in mind that used cars can vary but my experience has been . . .

I got this car for under $18,000 and it is fully loaded save for the GPS. I love the leather heated seats, the sunroof, the gorgeous white pearl color. It has held up great in the brutal Boston winter and against potholes.

MPG isnt great at 16-17 mpg but I love that I can get the MPG and Miles to Empty (MTE) on the display screen. It is wired for Sirius but I haven't gotten around to that yet. The Bose stereo system is nice as are the steering wheel controls.

I have not had the bad fortune of having to do repairs on it yet. Handling is fine. The engine is a little bit too loud when first warming up - like the first 10 mins of driving in the winter. Seats heat up fast and before the heater itself can emit warm air. Many convenience like an extra cig lighter plug. WOuldve liked an Auxiliary plug on the stereo. Cargo room is smaller than my Sportage but I'll take the Murano anyday!! Leather is holding up great too. I really have nothing negative to say except I wish the gigantic cupholders were more friendly to Coke cans. Sweet halogen headlights too.
AWD is GREAT in the snow!! I needed an SUV great in the snow and I have one in the Murano!!!
