TROUBLE

I have had a Braun QS3 Range hood since they first came out and it has been nothing but trouble. First it stopped working within the guarantee, so they sent someone out who added a new circuit board to the existing board. Then after the warranty expired, they want $163.88 to replace the board (Part # r111653). The board still works if I open it up and pull it down a bit, but normally the lights and the fan don't work until the stove heats up to a certain temperature, exactly what temperature that is I can't say.

I have called Braun tech support over the years and they basically say that this happens if you don't ALWAYS use the fan when you are using the stove. Moisture gets up into the board, etc. Sounds like a design flaw to me!
