Author's Review
The Oddworld series has been one of the best so far. It had it all; puzzles, humor (definitely), and great replay value. Then along came the Game Boy version.
Oy! I can list about a million things wrong with this game!
There is no challenge what-so-ever! The enemies are completely brain dead and just sit there. Even if they don't sometimes, you can dodge them like nobody's business! Did I mention that there were no puzzles either?
The length of this game... well I take that back. There WAS no length! You can, quite literally, beat the game in 20 minutes! Even worse was the infamous glitch that, when you pause the game in the middle of a jump and then unpause, lets your player hop in mid-air again, something which is impossible normally! This lets you reach areas with the greatest of ease!
And...no, it wouldn't be any harder if you didn't use the glitch!
I won't even cover what the music was like...
The entire game is actually one section of the playstation "Abe's Odyssey!" And once you beat it, you're done! Face it, if you want to waste $25 on this, be my guest. Otherwise save it for better games.
