Wow! Awesome camera! I have three small children, and this is the answer for me. I found that I wasn't taking as many pictures as I used to before I had kids, because I was nervous of having my SLR out around the kids. Now with this camera, I can give THEM the camera to 'play' with and take pictures - believe me I've tested it! It really is unbreakable! Picture quality is great too.
The flexability of this camera is fantastic! We took it to Hawaii, and this camera went everywhere!! At the beach, IN the ocean snorkeling, IN the pool, etc!!
The video aspect of it is great, the sound picked up everything - even the sound of the waves on the beach!
The camera is very easy to use if you've used any digital camera before. The screen is big, and the camera itself is just the right pocket size - maybe a little bit heavy, but I would expect that of a rugged camera. Plus it looks great too, I have it in the green!
I have owned this camera for about 10 months now, and I've had no problems with it at all! No maintenance issues, nothing. Great little camera!
