Tungsten 2... The T2 is nothing like what Terminator 2 was to Terminator 1!

Date of Review:  Aug 5, 2003
The Bottom Line: Although the T2 improves on some major items from the T1, overall, you have a better Palm PDA but it doesn't quite beat out the Zire 71 in some respects.
Review: Hmm... Palm has released this bad boy for about 2 weeks now, about 9-10 months from the release of the original Tungsten T model. The T2 is a bit more polished than the the first model and add or upgrades a couple of features from the original.

Palm Tungsten T2 - A Lot More Palm Than Ever Before!

Date of Review:  Apr 18, 2004
The Bottom Line: The Palm Tungsten T2 proves itself to be a very worthwhile PDA... Battery life is skimpy, but Bluetooth makes up for it.
Review: The Palm Tungsten T2 is the device that ultimately replaced the Palm Tungsten T and is a step above the Palm Tungsten E. When the Palm Tungsten T2 first came out, it was very expensive. But through gradual price drops, the Palm Tungsten T2 is...

T2 - It's good, but I wish I bought something else instead

Date of Review:  Mar 23, 2004
The Bottom Line: Shop around before you purchase this. Chances are, you may want something simpler or you may want to invest in a phone/PDA all-in-one.
Review: I upgraded to the Palm Tugsten T2 Handheld when my 4-year old Palm V began acting up. I thought I'd be excited by the color screen and the new features - like the ability to plug in headphones and listen to books on tape or music while I was at the...

Good things come in small packages.

Date of Review:  Aug 22, 2003
The Bottom Line: Nice design, powerful and compact. If features fit your needs I highly recommend!
Review: The T2 is my third palm device. My last two were Handspring's. Back in the day when I got my first Visor expandability wasn't a word in the Palm vocabulary. I lost that Palm in the desert, much to my dismay, but that's a story for another time... I...

T2 is better than T1

Date of Review:  Jun 6, 2005
The Bottom Line: The best PDA I have ever owned, and better than some newer ones.
Review: From T|T to T|T2I recently upgraded from a Tungsten T to a T2. The review for the former can be found here. To simplify things and avoid repetition I will talk about the differences.

To look at, there is little to tell them apart. The T2...

Tungsten T2 - 11 months later

Date of Review:  May 24, 2004
The Bottom Line: Pick one up cheap if you need a workhorse that knows how to play a little. Can you beat $125 on eBay with a stick? No way! Enjoy!
Review: Well let me start of by saying that I bought this little sucker about 5 days after it was released... And I have not regretted it one bit. The other reviews can give you the specs on the machine, but let me tell you about my "almost year" with the...

Not bad, room to improve

Date of Review:  Feb 6, 2004
The Bottom Line: Get the T3 instead: bigger screen, and you can always see your writing strokes. The "perfect" Tungsten = lose folding form, use T3 screen, fix voice recorder, longer battery life.
Review: This is my first PDA. I dropped around $270 for it and I don't regret the purchase. (I am using the T2 in conjunction with David Allen's _Getting Things Done_. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in getting the most out of his time and...

Impressive Unit - fun to play with!

Date of Review:  Jan 30, 2004
The Bottom Line: Good solid PDA with many features that are lacking on even the new units coming out. I recommend this unit for serious consideration when you're comparing your options.
Review: I must admit I was skeptical at first moving from a PocketPc to Palm OS, but I am impressed. My biggest worries were being able to use Excel and Word. PocketPC brags about being able to do this fairly seamlessly, but from what I've experienced in...

Excellent for high-powered students, and AWESOME with Bluetooth!

Date of Review:  Jan 2, 2004
The Bottom Line: With a keyboard and Bluetooth phone, this PDA has replaced my laptop three days out of the week. The great screen and expandability are perfect for high-powered students and writers.
Review: For several years in college I carried a Palm V -- one cool-looking handheld. At the time it was state-of-the-art, but I hardly ever used it for a couple of reasons: the screen was hard to read, the apps were not so great, and the processor and...

great palm, but average build quality

Date of Review:  Dec 26, 2004
The Bottom Line: great tool for mostly business people. if you're in the market now, however, get a TE or a T3 instead.
Review: I bought this palm t2 on ebay about a year ago. I also bought a nice sena leather case with it, a must have. You can go to www.senacases.com for one yourself.

I used to have a palm III, then a sony clie s320, then switched to a pocket pc...
