The Bottom Line: If you want top image quality without spending $1k , this is the way to go.

Great for the beginner or more advanced photographer

The Bottom Line: For the price, you can't beat this camera. first time SLR, or veteran to the Lens swapping routine, this camera is solid!
Review: When I walked into the camera store, I went with the intention of walking out with a Nikon dSLR. Pentax? Bahh... that's what they give grade school students in photography class. I want something decent!

Boy was I wrong.

Great beginner DSLR

The Bottom Line: Great camera that is suitable for beginner photographers, although it will be a bit confusing if the person has no knowledge of DSLRs/photography whatsoever.
Review: I've had this camera for about two years and I am very pleased with it. I only paid around $280 for the whole kit, which was a great value. The choice was between a Canon S3 and the Pentax, and I went for this K100D and still haven't regretted...

Excellent value

Review: I gave my Nikon D40 to my wife and upgraded to this beauty.
It features shake reduction built into the body and access to millions of legacy Pentax lenses.
I am very impressed with this camera so far!
