Pentel Quicker Clicker Automatic Pencil is the Best automatic pencil that I've ever used! To make it better, it has a LIFE TIME WARRANTEE!
If I could remember, I've used Quicker Clickers for about 10 years. Although none of the ones I have are 10 years old, I've used SEVERAL of these quicker clickers, and it's amazing! For your information, the reason why I used several is because I keep losing them, getting more, or borrowing it from my siblings.
details:
Made in: Japan - I believe Japanese writing instruments has the highest quality
measures from tip to eraser: about 5.5 inches
stylish colors: so far I've seen pink, purple, tan, blue
refillable: lead is refillable, pencil barrel can hold several leads at once, and erasers are refillable
comfort: Most of the pencils I used were the ones before the rubber grips existed; but I did use the ones with rubber grips a couple times. I'd say the pencils without the rubber grip are OK to write with. The pencils with the rubber grip has a very smooth and comfortable STRONG grip.
LIFE TIME WARRANTEE many people may not realize it, but this pencil has in fact a life time warrantee! For any reason that regards product flaw, if the pencil doesn't work, or something isn't working as it should, just send it to the company, and they will fix or replace your pencil without charge! My brother and I had done this a couple times and they do send it back! Out of all the times I've sent the pencil back to pentel, only once did I not get my pencil back. I am not sure why because Pentel is a trusting company who has sent me and my brother's pencil back a couple times before, but I assume the mail man lost it, or some other mysterious reason.
Just look for the address online or on the product package, and keep it as a reference for sending pencils back to the company if anything malfunctions. Write a little friendly note describing the problems you have and request for fixing or replacement. You don't need special packaging to send. I just used a standard sized envelope that's big enough to fit the pencil in, and used regular postage.
durability: This pencil is very strong. After a lot of abuse, I've never crushed or broken any of these pencils and neither did other people I know.
click! Unlike other automatic pencils, this pencil's click is from the side of the pencil. I've seen and used other companies copy cat pencils with this feature, but this Pentel Quicker Clicker is better than all of those that I used. The side click allows faster clicking, especially when writing as fast as I can, and it is more convenient than going all the way to the top of the pencil and clicking. It is clickable while writing.
cons:
a common problem: in quicker clicker pencils that others and I found were the tip tends to "cave in" meaning that after writing a lot with these pencils, the metal tip may get pushed in. You can pull it out, but after writing again the metal will get pushed in again. This may be a bothersome problem because the metal tip is what prevents the lead from breaking. If you have this same problem, I recommend that you send it back to Pentel with my directions I gave above.
expensive: I got these pencils around 5 dollars each, the 3 packs are cheaper. I have to say compared to other pencils of similar prices, this one is worth the 5 bucks. It gets very expensive after losing several of them though; I tend to lose it from misplacing it somewhere or someone decides to steal it from me!
