"Quicker Clicker" is the easy to use side-clicking pencil.
Pros:
The automatic pencil engineers use.
Cons:
Eraser refills are _sometimes_ hard to find.
The Bottom Line:
I do a LOT of writing with mechanical pencils, and these are the best.

Author's Review
This is the automatic pencil engineers and students use, when you have a LOT of writing and/or drafting to do.
You can put in about 20 leads in the feeder, for automatic dispensing, and the side-click function makes it easy to get a new lead. This is the best of the side-click automatic pencils, and I have tried about 10 brands and types, including other Pentel Brands. These are better because they are not as flexible, and so the leads do not break as much. (The reason is that the guide tip is metal, not plastic like other brands and types, so the tip is less flexible.)
Another advantage is that they have a big, fat eraser on the end, these are refillable and work very nice. Sometimes other brands' erasers fall out or don't erase well, but this is probably being a bit too picky, perhaps!
I can usually find them for purchase for less than 3 dollars each, at Staples, Office Max, Office Depot, etc, and they come in several colors. (Note, the $5.99 price shown in the product search below (for Office Max) is not accurate, in my opinion.)
