Pink Floyd's Live at Pompeii video is absolutely a must-see for any fan of Pink Floyd.
The memebers of Pink Floyd take their instruments, set up, and play in the lost city of Pompeii. You get a not-too-common look at them with all thier different percussion instruments, and with their pioneering efforts of the use of synthesisers.
As with any visual Pink Floyd experience, you get a bunch of wierd, interesting, cool, psychedelic-type backgrounds that they cleverly put their music to.
Perhaps the best part of this video is the footage of the recording of the band's landmark album Dark Side of the Moon. There are interviews with Roger Waters and David Gilmore, scenes at a resturaunt while they're taking a break, talking about their music, and actually getting to see them working on the recording of Dark Side of the Moon; And it's amazing how much work went into it.
This is a great, highly entertaining music video/documentary that I think any fan of Pink Floyd, die-hard, or just an appreciator of thier work should really get their hands on.
