Good product, fix the lid problem.

Date of Review:  Apr 19, 2001
The Bottom Line: I would recommend it for the average family. But don't forget to remove the lid BEFORE you turn it on!
Review: Love the convenience of storing the oil in the fryer. Heats quickly, uses less oil than I would if I used one of my own pots. Easy to *refresh* the oil by frying some potato slices between different meals, ie; fish & chicken. Just discard the potato...

Presto! Crispy Food Prepared in Half the Time

Date of Review:  Mar 2, 2005
The Bottom Line: Fry Daddy is a handy appliance for food preparation, but it will add fat and calories to your meal and it does present a burn hazard.
Review: Baked foods are great for those who want to cut back on fat and calorie intake. With the absence of oil, the oven provides a safe haven for those who wish to eat food in its most unadulterated state, free from the bogeymen known as calories and fat...

Fry, Fry, Fry

Date of Review:  Jun 6, 2000
Review: I have had my Fry Daddy for about a year now, and it works wonders.

For one, I use to just use a pot, and I would put too much oil, or not enough, and end up with spattering grease, or burnt food.

This has a level mark on it, so...
