Quite Impressive Popper So Far

Like a lot of people, I love popcorn. Microwave popping is great, and a lot of the brands now pop up almost 100%. The only problem is they use way too much salt in my opinion. Not only is this an issue of taste, for people that want or need to limit their sodium, it is a real turnoff. As popcorn is great for dieting (very filling with few calories) I wanted an option. I noticed that air poppers were still available so I figured I would give one a try. Based upon Epinions, I tried this one out. So far, I'm impressed. Back when they first came out (1980s) I recall a lot of unpopped kernels. I popped up a batch today and had only 3 or 4 unpopped. The taste is good and it only took about 3 minutes. I sprayed some "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" and had a healthy tasty treat in no time. We'll see how it holds up over time, but so far I'm impressed, especially for the price (paid $17 on sale at Kohl's). Oh, some people complained about lack of an on/off switch, but I don't miss it. I also like the tray for melting butter, if desired (doubles as measuring cup for the popcorn and equals the perfect amount for my large bowl. Just about the right amount for two people).
