Great for Children Not Ready to Leave Diapers

My son uses the Huggies Goodnights small/medium size. He has PDD-NOS which has delayed his ability to be ready for potty training. He became too big for the size 7 diapers, so these took the place of those almost perfectly. The Huggies Goodnights are the pull-up kind but they have sides that easily rip open for those that are using them like diapers. One of the most important things is that they hold pretty well. They don’t leak or soak through horribly easily.

However, we have had one problem. If they become too full, sometimes the Goodnights burst open and the little gel-like molecules inside come out. This has only happened a few times but it was definitely not pretty when it happened. We usually change my son’s diaper every 2-3 hours but this has happened when he has had an especially large amount of pee. Most of the time, though, these “diapers” hold well. I think they would be great for older children too because they look a little bit more like underwear because they have cool designs (like bikes and skateboards for the boys).

They are also great because they have an easy to read printed label that tells you the front from the back. This makes it easier for me to put them on my son and I’m sure it would also help when older children are trying to put them on as well.
