I Purchased these for personal use, to listen to my music and not disturb the neighborhood. All excited about them as these were my first pair of cordless headphones. No more cords, no more ripping headphones painfully off my head when I would forget they were on.
The problems started when I discovered how difficult these were to tune in properly. Worked for over an hour, with different music types to try and find a happy medium and never did truly find one. The static while trying to tune them is painfully loud and annoying.
To make matters worse, the volume control and the tuning control are right beside each other. No matter how many times you adjust one or the other, you inevitably hit the wrong one and either blow your head off with the volume or blow your head off with the static that blares even louder than the music.
If you pause a minute or so between songs, the transmitter shuts off, generating a soul shattering blast of static that will scare you to death.
It will not turn itself back on when you start another song, you have to manually reach over to the transmitter and unplug the power cord and plug it back in to make it come back on. This was the total downfall to this unit. Up until that point, I think I could have tolerated them.
Charging was another matter. You have to plug a cord into the headphones from the base in order to get them to charge.
The sound quality, if you get them tuned correctly for a few minutes, is excellent. The Bass is surprisingly deep and the overall sound is far better than I expected.
