remember when RCA meant quality?? Me neither

As with one of the other reviewers, straight out of the box
my Ac adapter connection is defective. But not only that...
when you do manually hold the plug in to get a connection
I got more than a mild hum in the background, I got a ear
piercing whine!! Tried them in three different rooms on three different outputs...same problem!
