Unique Product - Superb Sound

These powered speakers were originaly marketed under the AR label starting in the late '80s and have worn the Advent brand in recent years. I purchased them for remote room sound in 1991 and have come to appreciate their amazing flexability. With only a portable disc player, or an I-POD, or an FM radio, or anything else with a stereo headphone jack(or line-level outs like a TV); these units will shame many a full range home set-up. I have even used them for temporary guitar amplifiers by running the signal through an effects(pre-amp) pedal. I have also seen top name musicians use them as personal monitors---on stage, with a LOUD band.
The sound is absolutley outstanding owing to well planned equalization and plenty of robust power with headroom to spare. The construction is rock solid and set up is quick and easy. FULL range LOUD sound portable enough for travel.
