Author's Review
The Meeting
While shopping at Target for some toothpaste, I came across the aisle which contained the electric shavers. I remembered reading a small blurb in Men's Health about Remington's newest shaver (the PG 200). I thought that it would be expensive, but lo and behold, it was only $19.99! I figured since I always needed a mustache trim in between going to the barbershop for a haircut, that this product would fit nicely into my life.
I was right.
I did want to try out my new product as soon as I got home, but it had to charge for about 15 hours. The next morning, I got up to try my newest purchase. I was easily able to trim my mustache and sideburns. While I wasn't able to get that close feeling of a razor, it did do a fine job.
Durability
I did somehow mysteriously break it after a few months of use (i.e. it just stopped working). I was able to locate a Remington authorized service dealer, who replaced it for free (since I had my receipt). I still don't know what I did, but I figure for $19.99 and replacement with proof of purchase, I'll be just fine.
Verdict
I bought it for trimming my mustache and sideburns, and it fits the bill. It also comes with an attachment for the occasional long nose hairs, or if your girlfriend feels like shaping her eyebrows. I have occasionally used it for a quick shave when I don't have the time to use a razor, and it has worked well. Overall, I think it's a great buy for the price.
