Poor customer Service from Uniden

The SC 230 is a fine unit. However, it drastically differs from the accustomed technology and requires considerable clicking and clacking while going through the learning/figuring out process.It is even quite different from the BC92.

I elected to sell my BC 92 in favor of the SC 230. There are certainly pros and cons for each but I wish I had kept my BC 92 instead.

After about a week, I have learned a lot but not nearly enough to use the 230 efficiently. but, I am a slow learner.

My greatest problem is that I could not get responses from Uniden while trying many times, all unsuccessfully, to download the PC programming process they offer for $ 29.95. I guess I can kiss the program and my money good by.

Even without the PC programming program, I have finally managed to perform most of the functions I am interested in.

Great unit, Poor company-- as far as customer service is concerned.
