Very Good Stroller

by   djbriton ,   Mar 14, 2006

Pros:  Versatile, Cheap, Easy to Fold

Cons:  Possibly too heavy?

The Bottom Line:  Overall a very good versatile stroller for a pretty good price.

Overall Rating: 4/5 stars

Features

-Lightweight steel frame - lightweight for storage and easy to push: The Stroller in its entirety weighs in at 21lb which isn't bad at all, considering it feels like it is really quite strong.

-Swivel front wheel - for easy mobility and maneuvering: I haven't experienced the wobbling front wheel like the others have, possibly as I may be taking the stroller on less rough terrain (more on the road than anything). I will certainly watch out for this in the long run though.

- Lockable front wheel - wheel quickly locks in place for jogging: This unlocks to allow more stability if you are jogging, but you can unlock it for when you need maneuverability (in shops or whatever). I don't use the locked position too much, but from when I have, I've found it to be really quite helpful as it makes the stroller a bit more stable and less likely to veer off to the side.

-Retractable canopy - provides extra sun protection: Definitely a plus, for those summer walks and runs!

-16" Quick release rear wheels; 12" front - for a smooth ride and compact storage: The wheels can be released like those on a bike (really quite easily) which helps in storing the stroller quickly and easily. You can also fold the stroller itself with one hand.

-Recline seat - additional comfort for baby: Very good for naps or just to make the baby more comfortable while you are out walking or jogging

-5-point safety harness: Extra safety if you want it, there is also a handle bar in front of the child for them to hold onto if you don't want to/don't think it necessary to strap them in fully

-Adjustable handle - accommodates to different height users: I am 6'3'' and have had no problems at all with it, which is especially good considering it is probably designed for shorter people.

Stats:
-Weight limit: up to 50 lbs
-Assembled Dimensions: 46 x 39 x 23
=Folded Dimensions: 31 x 14 X 19

I bought this as I wanted a stroller which would be versatile enough for me to jog with, but that I could also use for general day to day use, as I did not want to buy two . I would say that it has filled my uses very well. It was also really quite cheap as well.
