Room with a Vue

My well loved Saturn 200SL was hit and totalled, so we went looking. We have had three Saturns in the family and my wife and I have been looking at the Vue for quite some time. We got the 2.2L FWD with 5spd manual, and the day we picked it up we drove from Dallas to San Antonio and back. The car had great handling on the highway, very stable passing big rigs, even in a strong cross wind. The engine is not powerhouse, although it is quite adequate for city driving. The manual transmission helps on acceleration.
Shortly after getting the Vue, we had to carry a new bathroom vanity. Laying down the rear seats gave more than enough room for a VERY large box, plus all the additional hardware.
The best quality of the Vue relates to my wife's handicap; she walks with a cane and most cars are too low for her to get in and out of, while most vans and large SUV's are too high. With the Vue, she can simply sit on the seat and swing her legs in; getting out is just as easy. It would have been nice to have a grab bar mounted inside over the door (are you listening Saturn?).
The instrument cluster is well laid out and clean, and the steering wheel-mounted stereo controls are very handy.
