Author's Review

The sound on my brand new set went out after one week. I called Sharp, who told me to bring it to an authorized service center in my area. It took me four phone calls to authorized centers before I found one that even wanted to deal with it. Tip: Authorized centers don't give a crap about warranty jobs. So it has been at the repair shop for over a month now, and I still haven't gotten it back. I just called Sharp to see if something could be done, and all they did was call the service center to ultimately get the same response I did, "we hope to begin working on it today." The Sharp rep's reply to me is, "sorry for the inconvenience." Yeah right; no one cares about customer service anymore, even when the customer is spending over $1000. Don't buy this crappy television!!
