A Good Microwave

I am very satisfied with my Sharp R230B microwave. There are a number of reasons why this is a very good kitchen appliance. First off and probably most important, is the price. I purchased my Sharp microwave about a year ago for $110 - a real bargain. After looking at others on the market, we decided this was the best one for the price. You can spend one hundred dollars more to get a bigger model but for this size the price was right.

Secondly, it does what it is supposed to do in an efficiently quick manner. The microwave they we had to prior to this one would take longer to heat up the food than this one. I am not sure exactly why but it just was not as good.

One-Touch Usability

The touch controls on it are a snap as well. It is easy to program, it does not take much time to learn. You can set the time to heat up and you can also set whether you are looking to defrost something instead. It can all be done with the touch of a button with your Sharp microwave. In a couple of short minutes, you will be able to program the microwave to respond to your particular needs for the microwave.

There have been no mechanical problems with it either since purchase. It takes no real maintainence on my part to keep it in perfect condition, just regular cleaning after each use.

The Spinning Plate!

The Sharp R230B microwave comes with the standard spinning plate inside which heats up your food in an even manner. I like the fact that is very easily removable from the appliance for simple cleaning. What is about the turning plate that is always so intriguing to watch as the food turns in the microwave. I really don't know but it captivates me for whatever reason.

Overall, I would recommend this microwave as a good product. Once again, the size could be bigger. You will not be able to heat up food for say a family of four all at once in here. But for one or two person servings it is absolutely perfect. A quality microwave for a really great price for the consumer.
