Mine didn't last as long as other reviewers.

Bought at Wal*Mart on 4-11-2007. Worked fine even though we had to refer to the manual every time it was used except to warm coffee. It stopped heating food on 5-2-2008. The warranty covers parts & labor for one full year not one year & three weeks. You would think that an appliance should last at least a few years. I guess Sharp now goes on my NO BUY LIST along with Kitchen Aid Microwaves. I really wish some appliances were made in this country. Perhaps we can talk Toyota into going into the appliance business.
I have emailed SHARP but I know from previous encounters with other microwave suppliers what their response will be. Tough luck Charlie. What the warranty sez is what you get nothing more, maybe less.
If I am provided satisfaction I will write another review with several mea culpas.
