The Bottom Line: Skip this unit. Flimsy build and dinger is too weak.
Bought this back in fall of 2006. Had this unit for about 18 months. I originally bought it for its capacity (2 Cu Ft) and that it is black to match my other appliances. I chose to ignore the non-standard controls. I chose to ignore the faint whisper that is the "ding I'm done" sound (can barely hear if in the same room - no chance if you're in the next room). It cooks fine and all, but that whisper of a ding was getting on my nerves. Used it pretty much every day for basic stuff like defrosting bagels, coffee reheats, and microwave meal cooking. Nothing fancy. Does its job just fine other than you have to check it all the time to see if its done yet. I got to the point were I was running an external second timer so I could hear when it was done. Then 6 months out of warranty, the LED read out corrupted so you can't read the status numerals or time anymore. Went out today and replaced it with an LG full size unit for about the same price. Avoid this clunker. Get an LG with a normal control panel and a LOUD dinger.
