Six Feet Under is like a drug. A major addiction.
Pros:
Basically everything.

Graphic imagery.
The Bottom Line:
If you missed this season than wait for the box set to come out. This show is too good to miss.

Author's Review
When I saw the preview even before the series started I was interested in the series. The characters seemed very, very, very interesting. The story I was clueless about. When I watched episode 1 I immediately wanted more. Six Feet Under turned out to be a addiction. I wanted more and more of it.
The series revolves around the Fisher family. There is Ruth(Frances Conroy), who is the insecure mother. She has a great performance as she wants to be everything to the children and get over her husbands death. Not only getting over her husbands death but finding a new love. There is Nathaniel Fisher(Peter Krause) who just moved in from Seattle. The day he arrives the father dies however and that is just the beginning of the problems he has with his family. Then there is Dave(Michael Hall), the gay brother. He has a boyfriend but has the fear to come out to his family. Then there is Claire(Lauren Ambrose), she is a troubled teenager who doesn't have many friends, has rumors spread around her, and she does some drugs. Each family member is focused on and developed. They also go through realistic challenges.
There is also other characters. There is Brenda (Golden Globe Winner Rachel Griffiths) who is Nate's girlfriend. She is my favorite character also. She also doesn't care what people think of her and will say what she wants. However, she has the burden of dealing with her bi-polar brother named Billy(Jeremy Sisto). There is also Federico (Freddy Rodriguez) who works with the Fisher's in the funeral homes. And lastly, there is Keith(Matthew St. Patrick) who plays David's boyfriend. Keith supports David through alot of his tough times. The love story between the two is very interesting and real.
What I also love about Six Feet Under is that it takes its time. If two people in love split up, they might get back together or become best friends again about 4 or 5 episodes later. Most shows would only have them brake up and get back together the next episode.
Honestly, Six Feet Under is a piece of art. It has comedy, drama, and romance. However, it never gets old and many scenes have alot of meaning. Rarely can a show be so powerful and fun to watch.
