Love this TV

by   dinkerdawn ,   Aug 8, 2008

Pros:  Great Picture, wonderful features, doesn’t have the same problems with burn issues or heat as plasmas.

Cons:  I can't think of any except the bulb is around $250 to replace.

The Bottom Line:  We love this TV

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Great TV and the price is right too. Yes, it may need to have a bulb replaced every now and then, but if you by through Circuit City you can get them under warranty. Great Picture, wonderful features, only 70 lbs so you can move it around without any problems, doesn't have the same problems with burn issues on screen plasmas nor the heating up with plasmas. We first bought a 56 Samsung DLP Projection and that TV couldn't hold a straight line. The bottom of the screen was the worst so we returned it and bought the 42 Sony which may have been smaller but oh so much better that the other. We did our homework before buying and talk to lots of techs. This was best for us and it was thousands of dollars cheaper. I can't think of any except the bulb is around $250 to replace. I have an older Sony projection, 6 plus years, and have it under Circuit City warranty plan and haven't had to buy any bulbs, when they do the annual cleaning and tune up tell them the pictures isn't as bright and they will replace the bulb as part of the TV's annual. I would buy this TV again and again.
