Author's Review
I bought this one (in pink) about 2 months ago. I was using my husband's cheapy one and hated it, so I thought I would go out and get my own.
I LOVE this thing! The sound quality is excellent (can you really expect less from a Sony, though?), it's extremely easy to use (I'm challenged in the media/technical depts., but even I figured this out), very thin so it fits in the pockets of my running shorts without feeling like it will fall out, and has a GREAT battery life!
More on the battery life- I haven't made it to the point where I see how long the battery will last, but after 10 hrs of use, I was just as the point where I lost one bar on the battery (sometimes at 12 hrs).
Start up time- This thing plays music with the push of a button...in a second! Much different than the normal 5-7 second start up time I've seen with my past MP3 players.
Doesn't require any special drivers to install. Just regular Windows and you are set!
I have also found this device to have a very fast load up time compared to other MP3's.
This holds a ton of music, videos, and pictures! It's really the best bet for the money.
Complaints: The ear pieces. Now, I will say, I have small ears, so it wasn't a surprise that I couldn't fit these things in my ears. I went out and bought the ear drops from Sony and haven't had any problems.
Also, it does require a USB port to charge, which I expected, but it makes it hard when on vacation and it dies on you.
