For Truly Deep Powerful (((((BOOM))))) Base, This Headphone Set Gives More Bang for the Buck!!!

WHY THE SONY MDR-XD400 PROFESSIONAL HEADPHONES?
I was looking for new stereo headphones to replace my old Sony MDR-V600 headphones, which still work. The problem with the old set is that the pads have become flattened and the coverings for the pads have started to wear out and deteriorate.
I was at Best Buy looking for suitable headphones that would
have the power & versatility to handle my needs. I saw several sets of Sony headphones - some were even too weak to consider buying, the low-priced cheap ones. They'd blow out within two days or so!! There were even Sony headphones priced slightly lower than the MDR-XD400.
WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT THE SONY MDR-XD400 OVER THE OTHERS?
Well, for one thing, the Sony MDR-XD400 has larger size Long Stroke drivers than the lower priced units. And they
have wider range.
At comfortable volume levels this unit gives you exceptionally truly deep powerful (((((BOOM))))) base that you you are looking for and can actually FEEL! They also have digital capability, which means that they can be successfully used with digital stereo equipment. And they are of the Professional Series.
These headphones are truly the professional type! They have been designed to look like they were made years ahead and have the true mark of superior quality workmanship like most other Sony products! They make the old set look very obsolete and outdated.
WHAT ELSE?
You can also tailor the sound to your preference, as there are two slide-control levers - one on each slide that gives you the choice of regular natural bass sound or movie sound which enhances and pumps up the bass for truly rich powerful surround-sound-like movie sound!
MY EXPERIENCE SO FAR:
I found that this set truly brings out the true "beast" in the music and makes any headphones previously used sound cheap & flimsy! This set is really up to date and very high-tech. Far better than the hissing monster it replaced!!
I'm mainly using this set for the stereo system. It gives awesome deep powerful ((((((BOOM)))))) bass without sacrificing the comfortable sound level. You no long have to feel compelled to jack up the volume to the moon to get good quality sound & bass!
The Sound Mode switches provides you with truly life-like movie sound - something never before achieved with stereo headphones! So listening to movies on DVD's gives you the same awesome sound as your surround sound system.

Warranty could have been longer. Expensive.

Overall, I'd say that this headphone set really does the job! One of the best ones I've owned.

PRECAUTIONS:
1. Listening to music with headphones at high volumes can and will impair your hearing! Reduce volume before turning on equipment that you are about to use the headphones with.
2. For traffic safety, do not use headphones while driving, bike riding or crossing streets.
3. The earpads may deteriorate due to long-term storage or use.
4. Your hearing is meant to last a lifetime. Abusive exposure to extremely loud music can destroy your hearing!
