SONY MDR V150 HEADPHONES - Best Portable Upgrade

Date of Review:  Jun 27, 2003
The Bottom Line: Good stuff for less than $20.00!
Review: I bought my Sony MDR V150's when I bought my Memorex CD/MP3 Player. I knew I'd want the V150s after trying out the pair my cousin owns and seeing so many of my friends and acuantances with them.

The headphones there were included with the...

Sony MDR-V150 Professional Headphones

Date of Review:  Mar 22, 2008
The Bottom Line: "my headphones
they saved my life
your tape
it lulled me to sleep"
~ Bjork
Review: These do not provide complete noise abatement but they certainly keep it down to a dull roar. The main reason we decided on the Sony MDR-V150 was because we were beyond through with those darn ear buds. The hard ones that come with products today...

Solid Low End "Professional" Style Headphones

Date of Review:  Dec 6, 2004
The Bottom Line: Great for the price, unless you want bumpin bass.
Review: In the past, I have used various cheap, open style headphones from Awia, Koss, Panasonic and Sony, most of which I picked up for around five bucks or that came free with a portable music device or something of that sort. These headphones had a life...

Smart Move, Sony!

Date of Review:  Dec 28, 2003
The Bottom Line: Reminds me of the Bose Stereos that cost $300 or more. These headphones will last.
Review: Who could ever forget the portable and popular Walkman? It seems like everyone has heard of them and I believe they must have made headphones popular as well.

When boomboxes get in the way, who cannot love headphones? I like them. You must...

Not for an audiophile

Date of Review:  Nov 9, 2002
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a simple, cheap pair of headphones that look cool, then these are this is your set. If not, look elsewhere.
Review: I purchased these headphones to accompany my Brainwave generator program on my laptop. Having good experiences with Sony headphones in the past, I figured that they would be a good buy. I should have looked harder.

Redesign the Jack Sony!

Date of Review:  Aug 16, 2009
The Bottom Line: Not for active music lovers
Review: These are fine affordable headphones if you never move. The sound quality on these, the comfort level and the price would make allow me to rate the product much higher, but one feature is atrocius. The Jack that is plugged into you music device is...

Studio Monitor? More Like Kindergarten Knock-Arounds!

Date of Review:  Dec 16, 2002
The Bottom Line: Studio Monitor's they are NOT; and if they didn't fall apart after six months I'd actually recommend them as cheap back-up cans.
Review: So my wife and I are going on a trip to Miami on Christmas day...and I needed some headphones. I got one of those dual-headphone adapters from Radio Shack that let you plug two sets of headphones into one audio jack. In my case, I'd be plugging the...

Good set for the money

Date of Review:  May 4, 2003
The Bottom Line: If you don't have too much money to spend but are looking for a middle of the road headphone, then look no further.
Review: I got these headphones essentially to replace the ones that came with my portable CD player. They hadn't broken, but even excellent CD players often come with flimsy, tinny sounding headphones. So off I went to the Sony store.

I haven't...

Horrible

Date of Review:  Feb 7, 2005
The Bottom Line: I was highly dissappointed, and bought the UR15C. I am happy I did that.
Review: I was around Wal-Mart looking for some closed-ear headphones that costed less than $20. Well, the UR15C from Koss was a bit too bulky for portable use. Guess what, I found Sony's MDRV150! And how dissappointed I am!

The sound quality on...

Decent Entry level DJ headphones

Date of Review:  Jun 2, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you are going to use them for short periods of time they are pretty good. Otherwise you might want to find something else.
Review: I got these headphones because I wanted a studio style headphone without spending a bundle.

The Pros to these:

Long Cord. Which is a good idea for computers you won't feel like a dog on a short chain afraid to move your head...
