Date of Review:  Jun 1, 2003
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for some cheap above the average earphones, get these. You WONT regret it!!!!! plus, they look cool too! lol
Review: Dont just settle for the no name brand earphones for 10 bux a pop, they just end up breaking on you every month or so! (just like me) i was fed up with having to replace my earphones every month, and the earbuds that came with my ipod (which i just...

Can't beat these on value for your dollar!

Date of Review:  Sep 16, 2005
The Bottom Line: Get a set and in 8 years you'll wonder why you didn't get these earlier... like 1998.
Review: OK, I think that this review is well qualified because I've been using these Sony MDR-V150 headphones for eight (8) years now!

First, I'll start out with the plusses: 1) Sound quality from a low-cost set of headphones; 2) Durability and...

SONY MDR V150 HEADPHONES - Best Portable Upgrade

Date of Review:  Jun 27, 2003
The Bottom Line: Good stuff for less than $20.00!
Review: I bought my Sony MDR V150's when I bought my Memorex CD/MP3 Player. I knew I'd want the V150s after trying out the pair my cousin owns and seeing so many of my friends and acuantances with them.

The headphones there were included with the...

Decent Phones with some cons in my opinion

Date of Review:  Dec 27, 2005
Review: I have been using these head phones for a few years now. Never really had any sound issues at all, the construction is quite sturdy. I have handled it very rough a few times, but it stood up to the abuse. The only bad thing I feel is that after...

Decent Entry level DJ headphones

Date of Review:  Jun 2, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you are going to use them for short periods of time they are pretty good. Otherwise you might want to find something else.
Review: I got these headphones because I wanted a studio style headphone without spending a bundle.

The Pros to these:

Long Cord. Which is a good idea for computers you won't feel like a dog on a short chain afraid to move your head...

Studio Monitor? More Like Kindergarten Knock-Arounds!

Date of Review:  Dec 16, 2002
The Bottom Line: Studio Monitor's they are NOT; and if they didn't fall apart after six months I'd actually recommend them as cheap back-up cans.
Review: So my wife and I are going on a trip to Miami on Christmas day...and I needed some headphones. I got one of those dual-headphone adapters from Radio Shack that let you plug two sets of headphones into one audio jack. In my case, I'd be plugging the...

Solid Low End "Professional" Style Headphones

Date of Review:  Dec 6, 2004
The Bottom Line: Great for the price, unless you want bumpin bass.
Review: In the past, I have used various cheap, open style headphones from Awia, Koss, Panasonic and Sony, most of which I picked up for around five bucks or that came free with a portable music device or something of that sort. These headphones had a life...

Superb Sound for an economic price, Stylish & Understated

Date of Review:  Dec 10, 2006
Review: I recently bought my MDR-V150 Headphone set for 19.99, which is very nearly the cheapest Sony headphones available. When I first put them on I played an old recording of a Beatles Song Something. The bass and acoustic ranges of the song were...

Not A Bad Deal for 20 bucks

Date of Review:  Jun 30, 2007
The Bottom Line: The Sony MDRV150 is not a professional headphone but shows good value for its low price.
Review: I already own and love a pair of Sennheiser HD280 Pro headphones, which I use heavily for studio monitoring and music composition. They have a very well balanced sound with good detail, but I end up breaking my headphones very often, so I always...
