Sony?s new DSC P92 A Bargain 5 Megapixel Digicam?

Date of Review:  Sep 14, 2003

Sony does a good job in their revisited vision to the DSC-P9

Date of Review:  Jul 7, 2003
The Bottom Line: Sony does a great job keeping up with evolving digital camera technology while providing a user friendly camera for the novice user with enough features for experienced shutterbugs.
Review: After a unfortunate loss of my DSC-P9 (stolen while I was deployed in the middle east during the war), I was looking for a replacement. Originally my idea was to get another P9 as I was happy with its performance and the ability to take over 700...

Nice choice for the novice with enough features for a pro

Date of Review:  Aug 24, 2003
The Bottom Line: Good for the novice with features to keep the experienced happy. Worth the price in the long run. Confidence in Sony name makes it easier to spend the money.
Review: First the stats:

The Sony Cyber-Shot Smart Zoom DSC-P92 is 5 Mega Pixels with a 3x optical zoom and MPEG Movie VX. When purchased, it includes size AA nickel metal hydride batteries (rechargeable) with a battery charger, A/V Connecting...

The best point and shoot on the market?

Date of Review:  Feb 7, 2004
The Bottom Line: 8x10's look unbelievable. The button layout is near perfect and the feature-set and flexibility is very underrated. For the money this is as good as it gets!
Review: Sony DSCP92 Review

This winter I found myself in the market for a digital point and shoot camera. After spending several weeks researching various cameras I settled on the Sony DCPS92. I purchased the P92 for 292.00 dollars after a 50.00...

Sony DSC-P 92 offers quality, affordability, and ease-of-use

Date of Review:  Jul 11, 2004
The Bottom Line: This is a great camera for someone who wants high resolution without stepping up to a professional camera. It has enough features, but not too many.
Review: I bought this camera to replace my 2 megapixel Olympus digital camera as it was on sale for what was a great price for any name brand 5 megapixel camera.

I have been using if for 3 months now and I love it. The first thing I noticed was...

Sony DSC-P92: Queen of Speed and resolution

Date of Review:  Dec 17, 2003
The Bottom Line: Don't miss the Kodak moment you have been waiting for. Awesome, fast package. Good and fast enough to satisfy a professional for the occasional picture.

A 3-megapixel camera tweaked to have 5-megapixels

Date of Review:  Jan 3, 2004
The Bottom Line: This is a tweaked 3-megapixel camera that does a horrible job. It's not worth the money. Get a Sony P72 instead.
Review: I bought this camera as an upgrade to my Sony P72 3-megapixel camera because it had 5-megapixels and was cheaper than the Sony F-717, which was around $700.

The Sony P92 is like a Sony P32/52/72, but it has 5mp instead of 3. The extra 2mp...

High quality, multi-featured, brand name camera at a lower quality price

Date of Review:  Aug 13, 2003
The Bottom Line: This camera provides great quality with simple controls for a reasonable price.
Review: I haven't been a big fan of digital cameras for a while. I have been completely uninterested in purchasing one over my old 35mm because of the lower photo quality, the high price, and perhaps my unwillingness to change. All that has changed now that...

Climbing to the Digital Age Via Baby Steps

Date of Review:  Dec 13, 2003
The Bottom Line: This camera is perfect for those family shots, not for the professional but is great for the average Joe.
Review: Okay, I am a rather backward type person, I have owned a digital camcorder for three years now, but just recently purchased my first digital camera. I have relied on my trusty 35mm for the last eight years so you can imagine my disapointment when...
