Author's Review
My husband and I searched for a long time to find a crib for our son. As first time parents, we did a lot of research and review-checking (maybe a little too much at times). I was amazed to find each time that we went crib shopping that all of our options were so expensive, yet so ugly! I knew we wanted a middle-of-the-line crib... something safe and attractive, but not costing as much as a cadillac. I was thrilled to find this crib and matching dresser/changing table.
First of all, it's sturdy and high-quality. So many other cribs that we saw were made out of terrible particle board and in very unnatural finishes. This crib is solid and I have no fears that it will fall apart quickly.
I feel like this is a crib that I will be able to use with future children without hesitation, especially due to the fact that there are no moving parts, sliding sides, etc.
The only cons I can think of is that it's pine, so the wood is a little soft. I made the first dent this week while trying to remove my son's mobile from the side rails. But, in the crib's defense, I was putting a good amount of muscle into it and not paying attention to what I was doing.
All in all, I'm very pleased with our purchase and would buy a Sorelle crib again without hesitation.
