The dating genre has finally reached the US. The first release of its kind for the Dual Screen is here. While excellent and OK gaming make for a mundane gaming experience, it fails to grasp what the Dual Screen is capable of. One eerie part of the game was the character reactions to certain events. After about an hour or so the gamer picks up on them and notices the repetition more and more.
One of the more big drawbacks of the title was the gameplay. It was one of those guess right move on, guess wrong stay back types. This made the game a bit more tedious. The game also, as stated earlier, take full advantage of the touch screen. The control mode of this is awkward and very difficult to use.
The active participation from the gamer in the game is very limited. It's as if you watch the game play out by itself. But in the game's defense, it does shed light on a new genre of gaming that the US hasn't seen enough of. For that, I give the publisher kudos. If you had to buy it, you would play it. If you had $30 just itching to spend don't waste your money on it. Go donate it to a charity.
