2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara

I purchased a new 1998 Suzuki Sidekick and had it for 5 years. It was a great car. So when I decided to buy a new car I wanted to stick with a 4-wheel drive. The Grand Vitara's came out in 1999 and I really liked the style of them better. So I decided in 2003 I wanted one. I'm glad I waited until 2003. They have added so many new features and changed the dash. I love the 7 speaker stereo system with the subwoofer under the front seat. They have put controls for the stereo system on the steering wheel, so it is great to turn on the stereo, change from am to fm to cd, change the volume control, change stations, switch cd tracks, with a touch of the finger. For heating and air-conditioning it has climate control. Set it for what temperature you want, and it stays there. The comfort in the ride is quite a difference since 1998. The seats are more comfortable, the ride is a alot smoother, they have added insulation in the hood, and it gets about 22 miles to the gallon. With the V-6 you have a lot more power then you did in the 4-cyclinder in 1998. When you step on the gas it gets up and goes. The road noise is greatly dinmished from the 1998. The back seats fold down for extra cargo space. Going around corners is just like being in a car and you do not feel like you are going to tip over. I have added a bug shield, window guards, and chrome wheels. My next purchase is going to be a rear spoiler. I would recommend this 4-wheel drive to everybody.
