Tamron A09 for Nikon

A lot of people compare this lens to the more expensive canon 24-70 f2.8 L which cost 3 times as much as this lens. Having never used L glass I can make no such comparison. I can say my experience with this lens has been excellent. This lens produces very sharp results and is a super good bargain to boot. Build quality is good, and the lens itself is light and easy to work with. The included lenshood is functional and offers good lens protection from the occasional bumps. Low light capabilities of this lens are pretty good. One weakness I have to point out is that in very low light settings this lens does tend to search a little but it's bearable. Another weakness, I wish this lens was wider. When you pair it with the canon 20d's 1.6x aps sensor, it comes in at a little over 44mm on the wide end.
