I am in 7th grade, and life wthout the TI-34II explorer would be like life without the sun-you need it! For starters, this thing is useful for normal math. It has a 2-line display so you can see what you're doing, and it says if you're doing something wrong right then. Then again, it does the order of operations in the PEMDAS order. It can also do 'Greatest common Factor' and 'Least Common Multiple' and exponents and powers of 10. You can save variables as A,B,C,D, and E. It can do integers. Let me tell you, this calculator is the beat for any junior high, higschool, or college student. And with the $19 price tag, our school made it a requirment for junior high students. The solar panel is included, and works great. The durability isn't so fine-I dropped it on the first day! Also, the dust gets trapped under the screen and won't come out unless you hit it and throw it (But that broke my old one) and it gets very annoying. Also, the cover doesn't snap on so easily. But for the price-$19-Anyone who doesn't have on is left in the dust.
