Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - My Time To Let Out My Inner Geek

Date of Review:  Jul 17, 2007
The Bottom Line: Oblivion is by far the best RPG I have ever played. The detail both in terms of the world and the storyline is incredible.
Review: I ve hesitated to review any PC games for a few reasons. One reason is that PC games being software it seems to me there is a level of technical writing required that I try to segregate to my work. I enjoy writing reviews and don t want it to seem...

Date of Review:  Aug 23, 2006
The Bottom Line: RPG seems to have reached new heights with this beautiful game. If you are avoiding this game, you are missing a masterpiece!
Review: FALL IN LOVE WITH A GAME
Oblivion is the first one of the Elder Scrolls series on which I got my hands on. It didn't seem like much of an impressive game for me at the beginning, but being a former addict of the Diablo series, I found this game...

Welcome to Cyrodiil : land of Tamriel

Date of Review:  Aug 26, 2006
The Bottom Line: Even after all the cons, the game still have the above average rating in my review. More than worth the try and the bucks, in my opinion.
Review: Have you played Morrowind? Well, I did... It s the most revolutionary gaming I ever did. It was 3 years ago. Now, there s oblivion The 4th numbered game in the legendary Elder Scrolls series. So, when it became available in the store, I grab it...

The Oblivion Letdown - A Consolization Prize for PC and RPG gamers.

Date of Review:  Jun 18, 2007
The Bottom Line: A decent enough game, with the best graphics I have ever seen. Sadly it isn't a patch on its predecessor, Morrowind. A RPG lite in every sense of the expression
Review: It has taken me a little while to get around to writing this Epinion. I guess the main reason is I wanted time to absorb my feelings and present a balanced report on a game which I felt I had built up and placed on a pedestal.

In the...

TMI on Oblivion: I'll Take a One-Way Ticket to Morrowind, Please...

Date of Review:  Nov 14, 2006
The Bottom Line: Yes, it's beautiful... but beauty is only skin deep.
Review: Warning: Here comes one of my patented TMI? reviews. If you hate reading long ones, you might want to quit while you re ahead. I just can't seem to find any middle ground between "It's great/it sucks" and going into vomitous detail. Anyway, Oblivion...

Oblivion: One of the Most Memorable Games I've Ever Played

Date of Review:  Nov 17, 2007
The Bottom Line: Oblivion is simply one of the best and most innovative games I've ever played. Don't buy if you want to be productive.
Review: Although Morrowind (the game that came before Oblivion in the Elder Scrolls series) has been around for quite a while, Oblivion is really the canon game that the Elder Scrolls Series has needed to do it and its series stature a true justice.

A breathtaking accomplishment.

Date of Review:  Nov 22, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you normally don't like fantasy RPG's on the computer, you will proably still love this game.
Review: Fantasy RPG titles have never been my favorite type of computer gaming experience. Early classics like "The Bards Tale" and "Might and Magic" bored me long before their resolutions, and when the genre came roaring back into fashion with "Baldur's...

Groundbreaking game in many regards, huge fun, the first REAL next-gen game.

Date of Review:  Aug 16, 2006
The Bottom Line: A fantastic production, great environment, graphics way ahead of anything else out there, huge fun for about 120 hours minimum in my opinion.
Review: Oblivion is the finest first or third-person CRPG I have ever played. It's addictive, immersive, spectacular in it's graphics content at times, and is clearly the most ambitious game I have played to date in terms of pushing the envelope in graphics...
