How to Destroy Any Enemy

This book has the possibility of being the most destructive piece of literature i have ever read. This book was written in anchient China as a book on how to wage warfare on waring states. The book does include many a passage about historical weapons and battles including tactics on how to use weapons such as daggers and spears.

However the main power in this book is in it's ideals and tactics on how to combat your enemy. While Sun-Tzu most likely thought of these in purely practical military terms,they can be applied to almost anything in life. A good place to put these theories into practice would be the work place. Imagine the advatage you will have over rival companiesif you have an advanced understanding of manageing your "troops," Indeed eveygood manager should take a look through this book on how they could better deal with internal conflict without resorting to extreme and unneccesary measures. After reading this book I tried to implement some of it's ideas into my manageing and indeed found that occassionally Tzu's advice to be a god send. Also if you work in the executive world and are planning a to take over another company this book will have many gems of information to aid you in defeating your enemy.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to better their business place skills as well as to anyone interested in chinese philosophy. The downsides to this book are that it can be hard reading, especially remembering the various names of chinese generals, however i very much feel that i have bettered my management skills by reading this book.
