What you say/do today, could save a man's life tomorrow...
Pros:
short read, easy to get into, easy to follow
Cons:
I hoped it covered more about God, but it still has an impact.
The Bottom Line:
If you read, you will enjoy this. It is simple, without a bunch of fillers that are meant to add more pages.

Author's Review
I met Frank Walker at the Five & Dime two weeks ago and told him how well he looked in his new suit.. Frank saw Sharon two days later and because I commented on how great he looked, he had enough confidence to ask Sharon to the movies. Once Sharon accepted, Frank was so excited that he hopped into his car and sped away. Three blocks away, with his mind wandering on what he should do for his date, he ran the red light at Fifth and Broadway. With blood leaking from his brow, he stumbled from behind the wheel of his wrecked car only to stand next to Francine, the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Immediately, in spite of the wreck and his injury, the two felt a connection. With each leaving with the other number in their hands, a future was destined between them. Frank called her, and although he stated his phone call was business only, his heart fluttered over the thought of her. Sixteen months later, Frank Jr. was born to Frank and Francine Walker.
The day I arrived in heaven, I met Frank Jr. I had no idea who he was. His father was as much of a stranger to me as he was. Yet, Frank Jr. was there to thank me for my kind words to his father and to help me understand how our life is lived. Who you meet today, could be the great grandfather of the President 100 years from today. It could also be the next drunk driver to wipe out your great granddaughter from the face of the earth. Be kind to someone and you could have a positive impact on the future. Be hateful toward someone and the impact just might be the one thing you dont want to find out, once you are in heaven.
Since Sharon never again heard from Frank, she held a grudge against men. The next time she was asked out, she refused, only to spend the night alone. The morning after she refused, Fire Chief Harrison discovered the source of the fire that burned down Sharons home; a lit cigarette that fell from her hand, as she dozed. Time of death was approximately 9:35 p.m.
Sharon was the second person I met in heaven

The story you have just read is my own words. Nothing was taken from the book The Five People You Meet In Heaven. The method behind the story, however, is exactly the same. I did this in order to give you a sense of what the book was all about without plagiarizing it.
Mitch Albom, the author, has a wonderful outlook on life. His idea of Heaven is almost as wonderful, in fact, it is more wonderful. However, as much as I would like for it to be simple, the fact is, I believe Heaven consists of a much Higher being than just the normal, everyday folk we meet on earth.
With that aside, you need to know that The Five People You Meet in Heaven is an unusual piece of work. It is filled with love, hate, denial, resistance and beauty. It is a pleasant experience and the wonderful, but cranky old man, Eddie, within the pages of the books, finally begins to realize that his long life was much, much less than just him being a mean old man that wasted away.
The book begins with Eddie going to work at the local carnival, where he has worked since he returned from the war. His father worked there before him and he now worked in the same ole, crummy job. As we read, we begin to understand that Eddie is really a kind old man deep down inside, he just has to much resentment toward how his life turned out.
It isnt until Eddie dies due to an accident at the fun park that he realizes life was more than just living and dying. Upon his arrival in Heaven, he is just a young boy. As a young boy, he had an astonishing impact on a man and he had no clue of this. That man was his first of five people. The more you read, the more you become interested on who is going to be the next person and the next and the next.
In the end, Eddie turned out to be a man that a lot of us can only hope to be. The Five People You Meet In Heaven is a moving read that may change your perspective on life as well as your behavior when you bump into someone.
The Five People You Meet In Heaven is not a book about Christianity, Buddhism, or any other type of specific religion. It is simple as the title states, The FIVE (5) People You Meet In Heaven
Need an uplifting, semi-short book to read? The pick up The Five People You Meet In Heaven. It is something only a real adult will come to appreciate
.. in the end.
*update*
by 'method' I mean 'how the story is written'.
