Pros: some stunning performances, nice unreleased extras
Cons: a few duds in the mix
The Bottom Line: This was a historic concert and a great box set.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The idea of getting multiple superstars together for a farewell performance or a tribute performance has become far too commonplace. There is little to no spontaneity left. Most of what passes for spontaneous moments was decided in boardroom...

Pros: 54 tracks, nearly half unreleased, all pristine and convertible-worthy
Cons: a big fat nadazingleone
The Bottom Line: One of the greatest live albums, featuring the 20th Century's greatest performers, backed by one of the greatest headlining and backing bands ever. And you're not buying now because...?

Review: I am going to save the monster view as one was already done on this title.
This is a great film. But to be honest the main fire power of this film does not come from The Band. The Band writes and performs some great song, make no mistake... |

Pros: Fabulous group performances by some of the Sixties' best
Cons: Boring interviews, and avoid Robbie's rambling 'commentary' track at all costs.

Review: Now you gotta know I'm a player.. a good keyboardist.. and I've played some of this material in bands, and I can read guitar chords and bass lines just from watching.
And I tell you honestly, Rick Danko was NOT playing the basslines I... |
