Then the terrifying visions begin, a has been reporter begins to investigate her past and notes begin to arrive that state "YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE" Melanie has no memory of her life before she was adopted and now it seems that someone wants her to have those memories back. This is one of those books that you think you have it all figured out and then something happens and you feel like no that can't be right. The ending was a complete shocker it is one that I would have never guessed.
