Product Review

A boring Plague

by   magic_feet ,   Mar 12, 2001

Pros:  This book is very repetitive and boring.

Cons:  This book is full of description and is accurate on plagues.

The Bottom Line:  I would not recommend reading this due to there being so much unimportant detail that it bores you.

Overall Rating: 1/5 stars

Author's Review

This book is filled with vivid description of everything going on. There is so much of it that it actually bores you to death. It is like describing everything you would see in your house and then telling of a little event that happened. The story should be about ten pages without all the description. I have even found places where it seems there is incorrect sentence structure. I am not sure if it is suppose to be that way, but it greatly confused me. I intently read every sentence. If you skim through the pages it may become a great book. This is probably why literary critics and teachers love it. They ignore a lot of the details because they fly through it. For me it was just a bunch of detail that detracted from the story and I punished myself by reading it.
