How SWEET it is!

Pros: Christina Applegate is hysterical. I am so glad that she is coming back.

Cons: The movie starts to lose its comedic momentum, near the end.

The Bottom Line: It may be more spunky, than it is sweet...but if you're looking for a gross-out romantic comedy that is NOT short on laughs...This is "The Sweetest Thing."

"The Sweetest Thing," is basically the "American Pie," for women in their late twenties. But..."The Sweetest Thing," often focuses too much on the romance...which in this movie, is not all that interesting. It should have just stuck to the gross-out gags that made this movie likable. This movie is hysterical...and be sure to watch the "Un-rated" version...which has one of the funniest musical numbers in a feature film since, "South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut." So..If you're an uptight serious type of person...you'll hate this movie. But, if you just like watching movie's to be entertaining...this is a pretty sweet bet.
