Pros: Cameron Diaz; good setting
Cons: Plot, script
The Bottom Line: I don't recommend this movie for the simple reason that it is too shallow, and vulgar. It won't make you feel good, be sure of that.

Review: The Sweetest Thing is I believe the most shallow comedy(?) film I have ever had the misfortune to watch next to Freddie Got Fingered. Whew! That was tough to say, but it has to be said you know.
Now who would I recommend this... |

Pros: A few laugh-out-loud moments
Cons: The story, the acting, the ripped off script...
The Bottom Line: You're better off renting "There's Something About Mary!"

Review: The ?sweetest thing? about Cameron Diaz?s candy-coated new starring vehicle ? aptly named, um, ?The Sweetest Thing? ? lies in its comparisons to another infamous Diaz-branded romantic comedy, ?There?s Something About Mary.?

Pros: extremely funny, worth repeated viewings, great energy to the jokes, very good cast
Cons: could be considered quite crude, a little weak on overall story
The Bottom Line: A big time guilty pleasure for me, this is an at times extremely hilarious film all about three girls and their humorous daily lives in San Francisco.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The Sweetest Thing came out back in 2002, and though it didn't do all that well in theaters, it quickly picked up steam in DVD sales and on television. The reasons it probably wasn't accepted at first could be numerous, and I am not here to...

Pros: The chemistry between Diaz and Applegate, the gross jokes
Cons: Random scenes, the acting
The Bottom Line: It's not gonna be up for any major awards but certainly makes an adequate alternative to watching something other than infomercials.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: "The Sweetest Thing" is the latest demographically-based studio approach to marketing a romantic comedy, by making it in the vein of "There's Something About Mary" (Unquestionably Diaz's star making role) and "American Pie" by sprinkling it with a...

Pros: The always beautiful Cameron Diaz. Christina Applegate is gorgeous. Selma Blair is cute.
Cons: The script, the "jokes".....basically the entire movie.
The Bottom Line: Mere words can't begin to properly convey how bad this movie is.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I have seen more than my fair share of bad movies during my movie watching existence. While a lot of them are so bad that they are actually funny (in a purely unintentional way of course), there have also been quite a few cinematic turkeys I've seen...

Pros: Cameron Diaz and Christina Applegate worked well together
Cons: Sucked - the writing, directing, and misuse of Ms. Selma Blair.
The Bottom Line: Don't you need to review your taxes for accuracy? Isn't there a closet that needs cleaned out? Get the picture?!

Pros: Funny, Funny, Funny
Cons: Lacking in the Plot area
The Bottom Line: A very funny movie that will leave you in stitches, just don't expect it to suprise you with it's plot.

Review: Wow, I was reading the reviews on this movie and all I can say is... HARSH! It's really a "cute" movie and definatly not a flop in my opinion! To be honest, I was not even interested in watching it, I am so sick of little Miss Diaz and her overtly...
