The Bottom Line: Recommended product for anyone looking for a great, easy to use and maintain electric razor.

Not a very good product

The Bottom Line: Buy it if you want a self-cleaning unit but don't expect great results.
Review: I got this shaver for Father's Day 2004 and have had it for over a year now. This is my second attempt at a self-cleaning shaver. I had a Braun self-cleaning shaver before (which wasn't too hot either).
I have sent this unit back to Remington...

Self-cleaning feature is great, but cost adds up

The Bottom Line: The self-cleaning feature (which gets the shaver VERY clean) and good quality shave make this a very good shaver. Expect to pay about $50-$60 a year on cleaning fluid.
Review: This shaver is a 3 rotary-head shaver with a unique feature: It comes with a base that allows it to clean itself. I've had mine for about 7 months now, and it's been reliable, giving a moderate to high-quality shave with minimal skin irritation...
