This is one terrific little radio.

The Bottom Line: Don't hesitate to buy this radio if a small attractive and stylish box with a big warm sound is what you want.
I have had my eye on the BOSE Wave Radio for months but the price has deterred me. Then, I decided that I did not need all the extras included with that model (digital, remote, etc). All I wanted was a simple FM radio with good sound. Stereo was not necessary. I spend a lot of time on my computer and I needed something near or on my computer desk an area which is fairly cluttered. An ugly boom box was not something that I wanted to consider. Web research kept extolling Tivoli and eventually I decided that this was the answer. And it is, indeed, an outstanding little gem with a powerful sound. Ordered it Wednesday, it arrived Thursday (wow!). It's extremely attractive (the maple matches my home office decor). I have it on nearly all day. Classical music comes across like a concert hall. And I had forgotten that analog tuning could be fun. Impressive sound at a very reasonable price. I could not receive much of an AM signal but I understand that it is possible to connect an AM external antenna (not included). Jacks for earphones, aux input and recording are neatly embedded in the back panel. Don't know why I waited so long to buy.
