Not as Well Designed as Previous Players

The Bottom Line: If you need a replacement DVD player until the Blu-Ray players come down in price, this will do, but I would not recommend it as an upgrade.
Review: My old Toshiba DVD player died two months short of five years. From researching the current available players, this one seemed to have the desired features.

However, overall, it is not as good as my first Toshiba player.

Review: My First DVD player was a Toshiba SD-4990. After playing about 4 movies, it quit working. Checking the internet, the reviews were pretty bad, which I thought unusual. I returned and they replaced with a SD 6100 a newer supposedly better unit...
