Author's Review
Turok was once renowned as one of the best games on the N64 for its top of the line graphics, well planned plot, subtle and well designed game play, easy controls, and suspenseful environments; however this new version has -Dizzying controls- and -poor camera angles-.
The -Plot line is poor-, beyond that of childrens games, and the action is surreal and so patched together so as to draw on adrenaline that be you in a sober state of mind you simply become annoyed of the poor transitioning-
This game can eventually be summed up as having absolutely no redeeming qualities as the standards of today's gaming industry are denounced by the Poor AI which leaves your want for any sort of challenge unsatisfied, the poor Physics Engine which is predisposed to glitched behavior, Even several parts of the world, which is very linear and confined by walls and impassable terrain, are left undefined and poorly rendered as if the game were incomplete...
IN SUMMARY: This game is poor in every way, lacking in plot, graphics, realism, arsenal, transitioning, environment and even in completeness. Surely this game needed another year in development and even then may not have been salvageable
so dont waste your money on TUROK for any system.
